There are 6 lodging types available. The below prices are for 9 nights and per unit not per person, so bring the whole family. Again, after the last Sabbath at sundown, we will have dinner then proceed to the Talent Show, so please stay the last night (no charge) and enjoy and participate in getting to know your Sukkot family just a little better. We will again provide a continental breakfast the next morning so you don’t depart hungry. Here are the prices and possibilities for the 9 nights:
- Tent site for $80
- RV site for $160
- Bunkhouses: $160 for family; $20 per individual in men’s or women’s bunkhouses (see explanation below).
- Cabin for $280
- Plaza for $320
Riverfront Lodge for $460SOLD OUT
I’ll say just a few words about each:
- Tent. Bathrooms/showers are within easy walking distance.
- RV. There is an RV dump station on site. You can use the bathroom/showers of the camp if you so choose.
- Bunkhouse. There are 28 total larger cabins that accommodate from 8-12 people. We are dividing the bunkhouses into 3 groups: family (10 beds), women’s, and men’s. The family bunkhouses are ideal for larger families and are $160 for the 9 nights. They all contain a queen bed and one or two bunk beds. The men’s and women’s bunkhouses are an ideal option for adults on a budget who are coming alone or with a same gender friend. All the beds are bunk beds. They are $20 per bed for the 9 nights. That’s about $2 per night! The bunkhouses have carpets, heat, and electricity. Please bring your own linens (towels and sleeping bag).
- Cabins. Cabins are carpeted and offer heat and good lighting. Each cabin has 1 queen bed plus a set of bunk beds. The cabins also offer a small closet area, a mirror, more accessible outlets, hotel-style mattresses, and a table with chairs. Please bring your own linens (towels and sleeping bag). Bathrooms/showers are closest to the cabin areas.
- Plaza. This building is newly available to us. Each room has two single beds and bathrooms/showers are just down the hall. Each bath area has 2 toilets, 2 showers, and 3 sinks. Linens are provided. The Plaza is the upstairs area of our eating hall.
- Riverfront Lodge. This is a motel-like accommodation with private bath and linens. Each room has a queen bed plus a set of bunk beds.

I would also like a head count for those wishing to take the Hebrew classes so we can prepare an adequate number of booklets. Last year, the number that showed up was half again the number for which we had planned. This year, we’d like to avoid scrambles. Hebrew I will include the alphabet, the vowel system, the dagesh, plurals, adjectives, and the schwa. Hebrew II will include word patterns, the gutturals, the definite article, construct chains, and pronouns. As usual, there will be slides of “Only In Hebrew” where we discuss scripture wherein the larger message is discernable only in the Hebrew language.
I would also like to begin developing of list of those who would be willing to donate 2-6 hours of their time during the 8-day week. Jobs would include watching the 0-3 group, patrolling at night with golf cart to enforce curfew (men only), “spotters” to ensure that all are wearing admittance badges, and general availability as needs develop. Please donate at least some time. Thank you in advance for sharing your time and efforts.
Registration for Joppa Fund and 4-day guests will open at a later date. There is an opportunity at Step Three to donate to the Joppa Fund. Please help us make Sukkot affordable for all. The northwest has been hit hard by the recession-come-depression. Please pray about this and give what you can.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Joppa Fund, it is a means of financial help that is available to those who cannot afford to come otherwise. Last year, we shared in excess of $12,000 in Joppa Funds. If you still have a job, please share after the model of early believers in Yeshua.
You can now register one of two ways:
- Register everyone in your party and pay full price now.
- Deferred payment plan of approximately half now and the remainder by August 1.
#2 above can be accomplished by reserving and paying for ONLY LODGING NOW. The registration fee, which INCLUDES 9 dinners, and the optional hot breakfast fee would be DUE BY AUGUST 1. Payment of just your lodging now will assure your reservation at Sukkot without your having to pay full price immediately.
In the event you decide not to come and you so NOTIFY US BY AUGUST 1 of your change of plans, there will be a $50 (yes, this is complicated and registration at this point is a committee of ONE, I’m overwhelmed, so pray that very few pay and subsequently request refunds, ouch, what a hassle!) bookkeeping fee and the remainder of your money will be returned.
In the event you do not pay the full amount by Aug. 1 and do NOT NOTIFY US, we will automatically assume that you’ve changed your mind and the above paragraph will apply to you, minus $75. Sorry, we can’t be calling hundreds of people to personally urge them to be mindful of registration. Be it known– we don’t want your $75! We want you to come with your family and friends and help this humble registration process by being TIMELY!!!
Please, please, please operate within the lodging-now-full-payment-by-Aug.1 framework that is established above. We are doing this split payment plan as an accommodation to many who need a couple of months to get the money together. We understand that. On the other hand, realize this: your part of the above option is gentleness on your pocketbook, while our side is a can of worms. I can just hear the phone calls on Aug. 10 when people receive their returned lodging fees in the mail because they missed the Aug. 1 deadline who now want to make a case for reinstatement based on forgetfulness when we’ve already reassigned their lodging spot to another camper. This could be a hard lesson for us. Please be gentle on us.
Registration INCLUDES 9 ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DINNERS. Registration is $220 per adult and $400 per married couple, which is a $40 discount off the $220 x 2 price. When you register for a married couple, choose the “Adult and Spouse” box ONCE!! This box is for COUPLES, not individuals. If you put “2” in the box for 2 adults and spouses, you will be buying registration for 2 couples!
There are 3 steps to registration. For appropriate badges, you must fill out #2 whether or not you pay full price now, and please, donate to Joppa in #3.
- Register. Please choose full pay now option now or lodging now only option with full payment by August 1.
- Additional Information. Please fill out this form regarding various matters, e.g., Hebrew class, CPR license, etc.
- If you have the means, please donate to The Joppa Plan.
