Colonel Ken Klump

Colonel Ken Klump

From the moment that his wife turned his eyes toward the Sabbath Day, Ken dove deep into the fathomless sea of the Hebrew Scriptures.  The hardened scales that had grown over his eyes during a lifetime of Churchianity were washed away, and for the first time in his life he felt alive. Ken immediately embarked on a life-long journey to prove that the words of the Creator and His Torah were as relevant for today as they were the day they were shouted down from the mountain. But Ken knew that if he were going to make a positive impact on the Christian world in which he was raised, he would have to demonstrate the reality of the “law” through the writings of the New Testament and the teachings of Yeshua.

For three years, Ken worked on a production line next to a very sincere Christian who challenged him every day, 8 hours a day, with those “hard to explain” verses in the New Testament that seem to contradict both the Torah and the Gospel of the Kingdom that the Messiah taught.  Those three years on the assembly line, where a perverted sense of sin and grace is welded into the framework of modern American religiosity, helped Ken to formalize valid scriptural answers to the contorted precepts commonly twisted from the writings of Paul.  Out of the crucible of trials, rejection, and persecution for doing that which the Messiah lived and taught, Ken now effectively leads believers through the mine fields that he successfully traversed as he prepares others for the ”persecution for righteousness” that is promised to all true disciples.

As a former All-State wrestler, Ken understands that sweat, determination, good training habits, and a teachable attitude are absolutely essential for one’s success on the mat and in life! The motto “Respect All – Fear None” defined his approach to competition. Now he has updated his motto to fit the realities that he has encountered in his walk with the Messiah, “Respect All – Fear None, but One!  Ken is now directing his spiritual and physical energy to educate, train and equip a powerful force of dedicated and disciplined leaders, who are likewise committed to living a Biblical lifestyle.  This is the Torah Defense Force.
