Michael Rood
Since Sukkot 2009, Michael Rood has been stomping the globe to bring the good news of restoration of all things to hungry cultures. In January, 2010, he sat in Jerusalem where a deaf Austrian tourist recognized him and tearfully tried to explain what following the Messianic truth on the internet had meant in his life. A few weeks later, Michael was in Germany where he ministered to a people who had to buy their way out from under either the Lutheran or Catholic authority. Still paying a “tithe” through taxes, these people are truth-seekers adrift in their own culture, having no place to either be buried or married. Then, he proceeded to teach both believer and the curious in Switzerland and Belgium.
A few weeks later, he was in Costa Rica where he met people whose lives had been transformed by his Spanish language CD’s, including a pastor who is now leading his entire congregation into a Messianic understanding, and another pastor whose children have also heeded the new message and who also are executives at the most widely watched Christian television network in the Spanish speaking world. After that, he was on to Argentina.
By the time of Sukkot, I’m certain that Michael will have traveled thousands of more miles to walk through the many doors that are being opened to him.
